Sauropods
Sauropods were the giants of the dinosaur world, known for their long necks, long tails, and immense size. These herbivores dominated many Jurassic and Cretaceous landscapes and include some of the largest land animals to ever walk the Earth, such as Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, and Argentinosaurus.
Their long necks allowed them to feed across wide areas without moving their massive bodies, and their long tails acted as counterbalances to their necks. Despite their enormous size, many sauropods likely moved in herds and traveled long distances in search of vegetation.
