Iguanodonts
Iguanodonts were herbivorous dinosaurs that are considered early relatives of the hadrosaurs. They typically walked on both two and four legs and are often recognized by their distinctive thumb spikes, which may have been used for defense or foraging.
This group includes dinosaurs such as Iguanodon, Lurdusaurus, and Lanzhousaurus. Iguanodonts lived from the Jurassic into the Cretaceous and represent an important transitional group in ornithopod evolution.
