WE NOW SHARE THE DUTY COST WITH YOU
US Customs has recently increased how frequently it applies duties to Chinese-manufactured goods entering from Canada. In some cases, packages have been assessed two separate import duties, which can bring the total duty amount to around 20 percent depending on how Customs processes the shipment.
Because duty assessments can vary from shipment to shipment and are outside our control, Dinosaur Crates now covers part of these duties on your behalf. A reduced duty amount will appear at checkout, and we handle any remaining Customs fees automatically during import. This ensures there are no surprise charges at delivery.
We are monitoring US import behavior closely. If Customs’ approach stabilizes or changes, we will adjust this policy to keep US ordering as easy and predictable as possible.

• 50–99.99 USD: 16.99 USD shipping + partial duties (portion collected at checkout)

Where do you ship from?
All orders ship directly from our North American inventory in Quebec, Canada
Do you ship dinosaur figures within Canada?
Yes, we’re based in Canada and ship nationwide. Orders are fulfilled quickly from our Canadian inventory, so you won’t face long international waits.
How long does shipping take in Canada?
Most Canadian orders arrive in 2–6 business days depending on your province.
Rural Canada is closer to 7-12 day delivery. Tracking is always included.
Do you ship dinosaur figures to the United States or internationally?
Yes, while we’re based in Canada, we ship to the United States. U.S. orders usually take 3–7 business days.
We have decided to hold back on international order outside of North America for the time being.
***Starting August 29, 2025, the U.S. will be suspending its duty-free “de minimis” threshold of US$800 for all international shipments, including those coming from Canada. This means that all shipments entering the U.S., regardless of their value, will require customs duty to be prepaid before they can cross the border. Please refer to the top of the page for the latest updates on shipping rate.
Will I have to pay customs duties or tariffs on my order?
If you are in Canada, you will not pay any import duties or tariffs, all orders ship from within Canada.
For U.S. customers, import duties and taxes now apply to all orders. These fees are determined by U.S. Customs.

What should I do if my figure arrives damaged?
If your figure arrives damaged, please contact us right away with your order number and a few photos of the issue. We’ll work with you to resolve it quickly. Our goal is to make sure every collector receives their figures in perfect condition.

Are the models scientifically accurate?
Each brand interprets paleontological research a little differently. Some focus on lifelike realism, while others emphasize artistic detail and character. At Dinosaur Crates, we love dinosaurs as much as you do, and while no figure can ever be 100% accurate, because no one truly knows every detail of how these creatures looked, it’s all part of the fun of collecting and imagining them.
Do the figures come in original packaging?
Yes. In most cases, figures are shipped in their official manufacturer packaging. For certain bundled items, we add extra protective packaging to make sure your figure arrives safely and in mint condition.
Are these dinosaur figures toys or collectibles?
Our figures are designed as high-quality collectibles for enthusiasts and display. While many are durable, they are not really intended as young children’s toys.
